Our last snowbirding trip during winter. We spent 1 week on a private island called Long Caye on Glover's Reef a 3-hour motorboat ride from mainland. Talk about being in the middle of nowhere with no signal whatsoever. It felt more remote than our safari in Tanzania. Slickrock Adventures organizes this trip and it's literally a summer camp for adults. Activities include sea kayak, surf kayak, paddleboard, windsurfing, kiteboarding, snorkeling and scubadiving - all weather permitting.
